Hey there, I’m João. Originally from the south coast of Portugal, I grew up by the beach developing a strong connection with the ocean at a young age.
I became interested in arts and visual communication leading me to study graphic design.
At 25, I took a leap of faith and set off on a solo trip to South East Asia in search of new experiences. It was there that I picked up my first camera, sparking my love for visual storytelling, I decided to dedicate all my spare time mastering photography. With ocean and photography as my main passions, it seemed a natural process to combine the two and follow my dream.
